I trust IPL on narration and world-building but visually it looks very cheap and lame.

Cautious curiosity. Initial reaction was disappointment because I thought it was a desperation sequel. Wizards haven't been able to make a new project besides that little football game no one played. And I don't want them to do a sequel. But since it's made by another team I don't mind treating it as a different spin-off. I haven't played Pathologic but I know it has a good reputation in a similar depressive slavecore style so those devs might be a decent fit.

I trust IPL when it comes to narrative, world building, writing and such, but the writing shown in one of the screenshots on the storepage doesn't impress me. I'm not saying I need Pathologic tier story, Darkwoods writing was pretty straightforward, but still IPL does have a reputation for having great narratives, or at the very least pleasant dialogue.
