This remaster (2015) of the remake (2002) was the final straw for me. I never bought remasters again. I was already almost done after Silent Hill 2 HD but I was willing to look past no source code and fucking Hijinx Studios being assigned to it and chalk it up to just a bad production, but now I really believe this is all malicious. What so you gain from doing goofy shit like making the music run faster or "improving" the lighting which just makes everything look shit and washed out and now it doesn't interact with character models at all. Getting rid of the classic typewriter font, changing item names, and all this other shit. Just take the game from here and put the game over there Jesus fucking christ.
