Anyone else wished the final boss in Portrait of Ruin had Death had more variety in his attacks? I thought Death's boss fight was amazing but his moveset in the final boss fight is a downgrade. I thought the twin sister boss fight did a better job giving each sister their own variety of attacks.

The Twins fight blows because beating them isn't the actual goal.Unless I'm misremembering, I don't think he switches colors at all in the final boss. That, at the very least, is something he should've done frequently to incentivize attacking Drac instead. Not sure what all moves he could carry over, a lot of his solo moveset is dependent on being the only actual boss, but he does have a dozen games worth of appearances before that you could pull from as well.

That nugget of lore seemed like a nod to Quincey being the one to kill Dracula in the book, putting it in Castlevania terms by saying, "turns out he was a Belmont, so he could do that." I'm guessing that's the whole reason they even chose the Morris' as a reference to the book in the first place, despite a Harker probably making more sense, considering Quincey was a failed suitor who fucking died.
