Anyone having issues with Steam support is genuinely just an asshole. These people deal with the worst of humanity on a day-to-day. If you want something from them be polite and accommodating. I purchased the SteamDeck at launch, was one of the first preorders, and it arrived with a dead right-bumper. I was nice about it and expressed my concern about it being "fix" vs "getting a new replacement" and they agreed and sent me out the new Steamdeck the same day I shipped back the old.
