The aesthetics and the music alone in XIII are fucking peak and FFfags hate that a lot. The OST for all 3 games is hands down one of the greatest OSTs of all time easily in the Top 3 FF OSTs of all time. I don't know why they went THAT hard but holy shit. If I had to grade them XIII - 7.5/10XIII-2 9/10LR - 9/10 old /v/ loved XIII-2 and especially LR. But nu/v/ has a hate boner for this series now

It's easy to appreciate such a phenomenal game for it's own merits such as the stellar art design, music and battle system and not focus on the typical FF elements it's lacking if you hadn't played the pervious like it's critics who can only focus on the linearity and lack of towns as if that invalidates all it's positives. Today i'd still consider it top 5 FF games
