Matsumoto also became a comedy auteur for some reason in more recent times and everyone else seems like they wanted to be done with Batsus years ago, Covid was just the straw that broke the camel's back.They really should have pivoted back to the OG times like Hotel or High School where Matsumoto/Hamada were in charge of making various skits and everyone else got tortured. Melub was a perfect addition to the crew and they should have had him as a main member. Have Endo, Tanaka, and Yamasaki there with new guest stars, or even let them have a break while guys like Melub and the other guest stars they had become part of the new cast since all of them were funny in the tag games.
