I was coming off of using a wired deathadder for almost a decade and it finally gave up on me, so the difference was noticeable. Can't say I regret the purchase overall or anything, though but that's just me.

Why wouldn't you want 7 or so easy to reach, distinctively feeling buttons on your right hand too? Even browsing the internet, it's great having a button to refresh the page and a forward and backward button without fucking around with the F keys. Or other complicated binds like "unclose tab" when you accidentally bump the wrong one. Very comfy even for net browsing.
