Is pic related worth buying over Metroid Prime 4 now that we know its a pile of trash?
ive played both. 9sols is an easy 9/10, mp4 is a 7/10 at best. both are fun. the bike shaves an entire point off mp4. 9sols is kino though, i wish it was longer.

>>727644812i loved it BUT i never finished it, why?because it has this weird thing where, if you close the game unexpectedly, you risk permanently losing your save, even if you have steam cloud enabled, i was playing it some weeks ago, a little over 20 hours in about to fight the 4th boss, but since im an autist it took me that long because i was collecting everything possible before advancing, suddendly a random power outtage in my house, when i open the game again my save was gone with no way of getting it back, the only solutions the devs give you is a bunch of save game files at points of the game before each boss, with the absolute bare minimum amount of items and map explorations, i havent touched the game since because im still mad
>>727644812It's a really good game, combat feels really rewarding and the story/atmosphere is good but it does start slow. Also the game isn't a metroidvania desu, it's a linear game.

Game is good, OST is great, kino moments, parry mofo's, smoke to heal, Shuanshuan's a good kid, bosses teaches you on every death.

>>727645775You should play from the start again anyway. First off, the game doesn't even have that many collectables. But secondly, you'll want to be fresh. The first 3 bosses are tutorials really. You don't want to do Lady Ethereal while rusty.

>>727644812It's very rare to have something with such good combat, bosses, and story neatly tied together into what's essentially a furry edgelord game. Only criticism was lack of music throughout most of the game, and sometimes levels felt a little too samey, otherwise it's a near 10/10.
This game made me forget Silksong was coming soon.

The first time you enter a Sol's domain, you can get every collectible without having to return with a different upgrade.There are some exceptions since there are areas you're expected to pass through but not fully explore yet until you revisit it
