They quite literally ran out of ideas and said fuck it you have to go back to the same levels again but backwards. There are also unkillable enemy type that stalks you throughout and you have to escort a girl which determines your ending if she takes too much damage...
>>727646827The game is cursed. I started playing it in 2023 after playing through the silent hill 1,2, and 3 one after the other. Something about this game is just different. Despite it being a short game, 10 hours long, I have yet to finish. Not because it was a bad game, it’s controls are awkward, but something stops me from playing the game for a while and I blitz through sections of it after. The strangest things is, the events of the game correlate exactly to my life experiences since 2023. Immediately after I started playing the game I started a horrible section of my life where I was essentially a shut in who didn’t leave my house for a long time with no direction in my life, things happened here and there that lightened the load but it was such an isolating, cold and claustrophobic period for me. What’s weirder that the events of my life closely correlated to the stages in the game whenever I would go through them.

Silent Hill 4 is broken on windows 11 due to issues with FMVs and Microsoft fixed the video parts of the FMVs but not the audio and then marked the issue as resolved so I'm super fucking mad and will be switching back to 10 and dual booting linux.
