Huge map with loads of variety in buildings and terrain. Weapons felt like there was good progression and the endgame scratches the power fanmtasy itch. But that human focused narrative, The fucking god awful trans nigger characters everywhere, The stupid running gag that you get beat up and tricked at the end of every cutscene before the fight starts. DL1 not much better. Gameplay was fire, everything else was shit.

This. So much this. Dying light is one of my favorite games of all time. It instantly hooked me the first time I played it. I put tons of hours into this game. The parkour and realistic detailed zombies was mind blowing. The story however was the worst most uninteresting dogshit I've ever seen. There were character deaths that were supposed to feel emotional and I felt nothing.
