New player who dosent quite get warhammer games; this IP shits out a bazillion warhammer games of all different genres every year, so logically most of them are shit right? Even on the play store I see theres warhammer slop mobile games, so spill the beans for me, is the warhammer IP basically like cod or ass creed at this point? Why do this company feel the need to spam release their ip with a bunch of different genres? How can these be quality games if they barely take any years in development?I've never played warhammer games truthfully, aside from vermintide which is good, but are the rest goyslop?

That is the bread and butter. All the games and books are advertisements for the little plastic army dudes people assemble, paint, and smoosh into each other. >>727650417Not him but it depends on what kind of games you're looking for. Like that Anon said, there's pretty much a game for any genre you can think of. There's plenty of good ones, but most of them are pretty derivative of other game. Dawn of War is your standard RTS, Total Warhammer is just Total War but Warhammer, Space Marine 2 is your standard hack and slash. The only one I'd say stands out is Vermintide 2 (set in fantasy) which is heavily based off Left 4 Dead, but it has the benefit of being made in 2018, so a lot of the gameplay is smoothed out and you are given a lot of abilities and skill trees to work with which is really cool. Darktide is a lot more gun heavy than Vermintide 2, but its arguably shittier than Vermintide 2.
