the only real media preservation is a NAS with 100tb+ of hard drive storage and save all roms, movies, songs, pictures etc you want/need.

Industrial-grade tape backups with one of those fancy tape decks and multi-TB tapes that will last a minimum of 20 years, or archival-grade gold DVD-Rs that are rated to last 100 years. If you don't mind replacing the medium every 20 years or so, the tapes aren't bad since you can get tons of data on a single tape. The DVDs are great for extreme long-term files, except the storage capacity is tiny, so you'll need boxes of them to store TB's of data.
