A lot of people new to FS were brought in by VT2, its popularity and the 40K brand and were then completely blindsided by the fact the game was essentially a $40 beta with MTX cosmetics in it. Even people who put hundreds of hours in VT2 were really pissed about the cash shop though, myself included.Since then, all of the missing features were added, every class got real skill trees, two classes were added, a bunch of weapons, a less fucked-up mission terminal, plenty of maps, etc etc. There's no reason to thank FS for finishing their game, but it is finally worth the money (ie, $10 right now).
