I'm midway through chapter 1. If I find the combat unsatisfying and the story boring by this point should I drop the game?
>>727656318Yeah
yes the og is better
The combat gets a lot better as you get more attacks and quartz combinations. Unfortunately some key moves are locked until midway through the game. The story remains pretty low stakes for the whole game but that's part of the charm of Sky anyway. Still, chapter 1 is nothing. Keep playing until at least chapter 2 where more things are introduced. Then that would be a fair place to rate the game.
i finished the originalit doesnt get any better in the original
Combat becomes a joke once you unlock coordinated attacks.Story won't get better until end where it ends on a cliffhanger.
>>727656318If you're not enjoying the comfy vibes and characters at all then you should probably drop it.
>>727656318Drop it now. I felt the same about that and other entries. I don't know why the series ever gets mentioned here.
>>727657035 This. The slow burn is intentional-it’s more about getting attached to the world and characters than high-octane drama right away. If you're expecting non-stop action or big twists early on, it's probably not your thing. But if you stick it out through chapter 2 or 3, you’ll see the groundwork paying off. The payoff hits different once you’ve spent hours traveling with these characters.
>>727656318Yes. Don't fall for the "it gets good 500 hours in" shit. If you're not enjoying it now you won't enjoy it later.
