fusion is pretty bad storywise, and the ending just rehashes super's finale. The linearity and nav rooms are awful. II/Samus returns is just an all around repetitive slog, and AM2R is a fangame. Other than crocomire, spore spawn and mother brain, Super's boss fights suck ass. Zero mission completely misses the atmosphere of the original, and the chozo statues are an insult to the player's intelligence. Dread's loading times between areas is pretty annoying and it could use dedicated diagonals like ZM/super/fusion had, because the stick on its own is wavery. the original has a horrible respawn mechanic and sprite flickering
