Videogame adaptations peaked here. Modern videogame adaptations tend to be hollow fan wank or pretentious and ashamed of being based on a dumb videogame.

Watched the first two RE movies recently. Can't believe people love 2 so much, it basically retcons the ending of 1 and just shoehorns in some fanservice

Anyway Resident Evil 1 is great, but Postal might be the video game movie
