Was keeping up with all the pre release drama and imported the JPN games before Pokemon did simultaneous releases. The whole point of Pokemon was that you knew all the other kids were playing it too, that you were going to school the next day and would trade mons, swap stories and plan battle strategies together. You can go back to the old games but you will be alone

I miss the era where Pokemon could be on handheld and console and you could connect everything together for cool rewards. Games like coliseum, battle revolution and even my pokemon ranch. Heck even the pokewalker was cool. Now all we have is pokemon go and spin-offs that give you nothing for mainline games.
