> Study conducted on 500 gamers to determine their preferred game genre based on the Big Five personality test, which is currently the most reliable test available.
Do you find it accurate? Personally, I took it online for free and I scored high on neuroticism, so it's true that I tend to gravitate towards games that are mainly aimed at kids, such as baby 3D platformers.

not wrong honestly
decent O and near 0 on eveything else (4chan archetype) and I exclusively play action rpgs (mostly indie)

It amuses me how extroversion and "openness to experience" have a basically opposite selection fo preferences. "Openness to Experience" seems to be a quality that introspective types have that's basically opposed to "immediate experience", and so has nothing to do with the kind of person who's like "bro, look, I've been everywhere, I'm open to doing anything, look here's a pic of me in Ibiza".

Emotionality is literally just women

I love rpgs and killing niggers.

Big 5's issue is that it's very bland as far personality stuff goes, officially it doesn't even have fixed types so there's little to argue about. It's very tautological.

I prefer Jung's original system(i.e. not MBTI) and Enneagram with tritypes.

Nah, emotionality on the Big Five isn't just "cry more woman," it's more like susceptibility to stress, anxiety, emotional swings-plenty of dudes score high too, especially if you grew up on the internet arguing about which Zelda is the best. It's more Reddit mod energy than soccer mom.

For the sake of, and only going by this chart
>Extraversion
Low Scoring, much to on one's surprise.
>Agreeableness
Actually high scoring games, but I seriously don't think that's accurate. Yeah I can enjoy Party, Puzzle, Arcade, and kinda liked the Sims too if that's what they mean by "Lifestyle". Not really Idle or Word ones tho.
>Emotionality
I mean it shares more than half of the previous ones so high scoring. Also don't think that's accurate.
>Openess to Experience
Once again high scoring games, it's literally flipped Extraversion why? That's not how openess works...
>Conscientiousness
Arcade VS RPG is one hell of a tough decision, I historically loved both with almost the same intensity, I'm literally doing both in this very moment and it's all I played this very year.
Slightly more on the RPG side if you go by playtime, but no shit they are much longer.
