In certain aspects yes. But I really don't think one is vastly better than the other.

I miss the bosses, mini bosses, dungeon lead-ups, marginally better dungeons, actual use of monster materials, and mindlessly fun spelunking of caves in TotK.

I've tried to replay both recently and neither hold my attention very long. Despite having so much freedom they have surprisingly little replay value. Meanwhile I can play lttp or oot right now and 100% them every time
