You ever play a game a lot for a week then burn out?
>>727672137Gaem? Vampire survives?
Happens with any long game if I don't pace myself.
>>727672226Seems to be a Wiki of it
>>727672226vampire survivors
>>727672137>game is super formulaic to the point that literally every run has an almost identical way it goesno wonder
>>727672269>>727672606Right. Isn't it a bullet hell game?
>>727672137Sure. Nothing lasts forever. It's important to enjoy the time we spent with the things that made us happy, even if it was only for a week.
vampire survivors is crazy addictive, i just checked it out cause i had nothing else to play and it looked simple and i just kept hitting it like a crackhead
>>727673447Yeah there's a lot of crap flying around the screen (coming from you) but the enemy bullets are just enemies trying to get at you
>>727673818Hard to imagine that's fun
does megabonk have the same issue where stat items and evolutions have obviously good combos you have to forcethat's what ruins roguelikes for me desu
>>727673924It's inherent to the genre. There will always be a best option. When the choices are as limited as they are in Vampire Survivors and Megabonk it becomes much more obvious.
>>727672137Most of the games feels like that recently, but usualy i play 2-3 weeks and then nothing in a long while.Atm its almost 2 months since I played anything.I still have some backlog games but they all feels that they miss something. I mainly play strategy, rpgs and puzzles and even better games reach the moment where they feel like a chore to play, like they would focus so much on a (good) gameplay repetition, that they forget about all other ascepects. After few dozen of hours you feel like automaton, theres no substance under a top layer of gameplay.Maybe im just jaded because im an oldfag and the time caught up to me.
>>727673839You don't have to imagine. It's free on phones
>>727676395Good to know
>>727673447No, it's bullet heaven. Bullet hell is toho.
>>727673689yeah, the constant upgrades fucked me upand once i got bored of completing runs, 100%ing the game gave me another 30 hours of content
