>>727672632Literally that pic except sub Zod for Doomsday and Bizarro for Lex. Doomsday as a Hulk-like tank obviously, and Luthor could be a support. Zod and Bizarro would have kits too similar to Superman. I kind of wish the Rivals devs were the ones making it because I love the art style in that game. I can't see modern WB games doing it justice.
>>727672892I considered that plenty and the reason I didn't put those names specifically is because I can see them having entire updates. Characters like Zod or Bizarro wouldn't really bring people back to the game in an update while Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Doomsday, the Batman villains, and many of the other big names coming afterwards would keep people coming back. But you're right, they are all similar which could also be just as much of a problem.

>>727673787It was a lot of fun. Ever since Rivals first came out I've done nothing but imagine how the DC characters would look and feel. In fact, I'd probably end up MORE interested in a DC game, especially if it had a strong hand to hand/melee combat focus, which is what I would imagine it would.
I think it should be acceptable for alternate Universe characters to be separate characters. Batman could have separate costumes, but I can see Adam West Batman and Absolute Batman having completely different movesets, costumes, lines, effects, etc.
