Im seeing some people say the core gameplay is still metroid prime and im wondering if we played the same game?When in metroid prime was samus incapable of using her own upgrades that she just found until she backtracks and listens to a redditfag yap for a year straight? When did that happen in prime 1 or super metroid? Can we aknowledge how that completely destroys and ruins any enjoyment in finding a power up? That i need to visit this worthless shitheap fed turns a would be cool moment into dogshit. The instant there was a single fed in the game it was worthless, worthless dogshit. It never ever felt like metroid, not for a second, I never felt like I was isolated. I never felt like I was on an alien planet. I never felt like I was exploring and discovering. I never felt immersed because I always had that feeling in the back of my head that more worthless dialogueslop could be around any corner. It felt like I was on earth, on a shitty skype call with shit eating millenial redditors. I felt like I was in some shitty cafe in upstate new york with a chatty millenial quirk chungus customer base that wont shut the fuck up. Never for a second did prime 4 feel even similar to metroid prime.
I feel like the feddies are the Jar Jar Binks of this game, even if they were gone this game would still be trash. The level design in this game is so bland it would make Fusion blush, and even then at least Fusion was a great action plataformer even if its Metroid bits were lackluster, Prime 4 isn't even a good FPS
