Jill has 8 slots, and as a result, you can carry>One weapon>It's ammo>A second weapon>It's ammo>A healing item>And then 3 quest items, not even including her utterly gamebreaking lockpick which is in a free slotDue to Chris having 6 slots, you're whittled to the bone on what you can carry with you between trips, then you get extra fucking keys you have to carry to make up for not being able to lockpick. So Chris players usually end up carrying fully loaded weapons but no ammo and no healing item to leave spare room for a puzzle item they find while exploring, unless they already know their routes and can do as minimal backtracking as possible.

A loaded beretta can kill 3 zombies and a loaded shotgun can kill 7 to 14 zombies which you won't see without coming across a safe room.
