How do I beat King difficulty with King of Progress? His gimmick is way too backloaded and I die before the prophecy.

You get lucky, he's fucking garbage. Even with perks you still have to get lucky. I wish I saved what my setup was when I did it but it certainly wasn't through his trash units. His best unit is the defender but it gets cucked by the bosses so it ends up being useless.
