The fetch quest at the end is by far the WORST PART OF THE GAME, if you thought Prime 2's was bad this is 10x worse and there isnt 1 but 2 of them!!! It is so bad, that it was at this moment that it dropped from my 2nd favourite Prime to being the worst Prime, cause I was so bored and turned off by it, that I have no desire to replay the game because of this segment.

You could predict it would be bad the moment they revealed that open world desert stuff in the trailers. Obviously when you ruin the backtracking the series is known for but still keep the stupid artifact hunting part of the endgame, you ruin the entire game
