Knuckles collects shards of the Master emerald and Rouge collects the chaos emeralds. I honestly don't remember what Sonic or Shadow do. Sonic is caught, escapes, gets caught again, goes to prison, escapes, and then goes to Egypt and then space. Shadow is trying to help Eggman activate the Ark I think? Why they both end up in the jungle I have no idea. And Tails is just fucking around and so is Amy.
