Saikono and Sokarev just need to admit that they got too ambitious and dropped the ball.Their endings strayed away from the initial premise, and due to them being so radically different from each other cause the entire story to fall apart as usually you expect the differing endings to tie back to the entire story.CDPR did it right with Cyberpunk where no matter which way you go, it all ties back logically all the way back to Act 1. Each ending perfectly ties back to the entire story and doesn't require asserting that each ending exists in a bubble to make sense.Meanwhile Tiny Bunny fucked up by basing their endings on outlandish concepts that were only introduced to the story in Episode 5, such as all the religious themes or the cosmic horror. The premise established from the start was eldritch Russian folklore and if they kept that in mind when writing E5 they wouldn't make shit like the Apocalypse Now ending and people wouldn't be this outraged.Speaking of Cyberpunk, it was one of the biggest game projects ever and it could've had 20 endings, yet in practice you have four main routes with few variations here and there. 20 endings for a small indie team is way too much so it was bound to fail.Not only that, Saikono kept everyone in the dark as for what their plans for E5 are, he kept hyping everyone up about it, and nothing during those two years suggested they'd lose their marbles like this. I really wished for chapter 5 to be good, so it could've gotten international fame and get some fans from the english part of the web, but in the end it won't. Maybe Markiplier will do a playthrough, but it won't be memorable and will just be forgotten as the many one-off horror games he usually brings on his channel.
