The game is a long ass corridor where you fight pointless battles after pointless battles. The gameplay sucks, it's real-time where you keep changing your "stance/strategy" and the characters fight automatically.The story sucks. It bombards you with words and names you are supposed to know and understand. Your party is mostly bland but some characters are annoying as fuck (the little kid and Vanilla). I played with the English VA and it was horrible.

It bombards you with words and names you are supposed to know and understandI thought I could just skip the glossary and the game would organically tell me what a l'Cie or fal'Cie was, why was everyone living on Cocoon instead of Pulse, etc. I was pissed that I had to read a fucking textbook to understand the dogshit story.The only reason I put up with 13 was so that I would have context for Versus 13 which got cancelled. 15 was somehow even worse than 13. I haven't been interested in Final Fantasy since.
>>727695634Yes. XIII-2 is the sixth best FF and LRXIII is the best FF, so the trilogy is overall valuable. I would never recommend it to anyone though, because making them play XIII-1 is just too cruel.
