Why does Dracula have sunglasses?
How did Dracula get New York-styled pizza in 1777-era Transylvania?
The castle is a time/space traveling entity, that's also why toads drop New York pizza even though italians didn't mass migrate there until early 1900s
To look cool? Hello?
>>727695572Idk how Dracula works in this game's lore but the original Dracula didn't die in the sun, it just weakened him

In game lore, Dracula is powered by Chaos, which is the negative part of human subconscious. It's good to wack him every one in a while to prevent the negative part of humanity from going out of control, however it's actually apocalyptic if you tried to destroy Chaos one and for all. Orlok tried doing that, and iirc, that would have effectively destroyed all of humanity free will because human needs a bit of evil to exist
>>727695572Vampires wear sunglasses, anon.
>>727695572Captain N reference
>>727695983If you go down the rabbit hole to look at the very original versions of some famous stories, you'll see stuff that almost never gets mentioned. For example, in Carmilla, the first vampire novel (predates Dracula by 25 years), Carmilla actually bites the protagonist in the breast instead of in the neck, and every time she attacks, it's mentioned she looks like a massive, cat-like beast, only becoming a woman after she finishes feeding. The way to kill vampires is also a multi-stage process: stake to the heart, cut the head off, and then burn everything to ash afterwards.Like you said, in the original Dracula book, he doesn't outright die in the sunlight, it just makes him as weak as a human. He prefers European cities because there are days where the smog completely blocks the sun even during day hours.
>>727695983Vampires dying in the sun comes from Nosferatu (1922 movie). It's nowhere in the original story. In the movie, there's a scene where Orlok dies in the sunlight.
>>727695572I really like the sheer variety in SotN. But I wish it had more meat behind it. Like originally the game was gonna have a morality system that was dependent on subweapons vs magic usage. Yet magic feels underbaked and subweapons just seem to exist out of obligation. There's no real way to even build into them besides Brilliant/Mojo Mail. And both of those are rare drops all the way in thr inverted Castle.
