Spelunky and Binding of Isaac are my favorite games out of the 2010s
>trial and error wikislop bullshit: the games
>>727697175nice buzzwords, where'd you learn them? at the faggot school?
Will they ever be surpassed?
Redpill me on Isaac, I played it briefly once years ago and I couldn't into the combat. And which version do I get? I love spelunky and no other rougelike comes close to scratching the itch.
bumpy
Love me some Spelunky.Don't like Issac that much, it's too much about stacking items and trying to break the balance. Spelunky is all about skill and knowledge, you can't trivialize the difficulty with item manipulation like Issac.
>>727695950I don't like spelunky all that much. In the late game theres too much chaotic bullshit
>>727695950I would agree on Isaac being the GOAT of 2010sNow Mewgenics will be the GOAT of the 2020s
>>727705141>diagnosis:
Spelunky is the closest thing to a perfect 10/10 game I ever played, literally (and I mean literally literally) my only two problems with it are>wanted system is really dumb and basically means that not being wanted is more of a liability than being wanted once you learn how to fight shopkeepers (I was really glad that 2 fixed this completely)>sometimes the temple can generate blocked paths that softlock you if you don't have bombsIf not for that I would call it a perfect 10/10 with no flaws (skill issues aren't flaws)
>>727707050For me the biggest problem in Spelunky is that the black market can be a clusterfuck if some random enemy aggro's all the shopkeepers (2 fixed this) and I fucking hate the green glove that forces you to stick to walls and it cannot be enabled/disabled (2 is retarded for not fixing this)otherwise yes, this game is as close as gaming gets to perfection
