It was kinda meh for me, and then I created another character and had fun killing folk as I got stronger.
Almost 80 hours in now and haven't really progressed the story much.

It's extremely mediocre. There are some good story beats and environemntal storytelling, but it's all dragged down by very basic, non-interactive open world and barebones dialogue choices that heavily limit roleplaying.
