All the quest headsets are bang for buck, be it a $150 used quest 2, or the $500 quest 3 that I think you can get refurbed for $350. Also if you are doing PCVR like you should, you're gonna spend $80-$120 on a good dedicated wifi router, a battery headstrap, knuckle straps, and possibly a facial interface that gives you more FOV. $500 sounds good for the quest 3 until you realize you have more money to spend. All this and none of the quest head sets are terribly comfortable and 500 grams on your face is still too heavy. I would feel much safer just saying "get the quest 4" in 2027 because it will surely respond to the frame and BSB being so light weight.
