The plot is worse with the paramilitary group from the first game blown up into an entire military with no restrictions ruling over the entire city. The protagonist in 2 was terrible who was angry all the time with all his interactions being gruff asshole behavior, likely to be like black led movies at the time.Also making Mercer a bad guy because that also was a thing at the time.
