>>727715471I think the problem here isn't in the object part but more in the monsters being captured, if I made a game where I have some mechanic about throwing scrolls at people to capture them inside and then using said scrolls to summon then to fight for you, they wouldn't sue me, I think the problem here is a combination of nintendo being litigious and the game being too similar to pokemon.
