In the spirit of making comparisons, if someone is interested in trying either Halo ODST or Reach, which one would you recommend and why?
>>727715759i don't like halo ODST because it's way too white girl african fetishized. ODST is truly a made for women game
>>727716378I'm not sure I get what you're saying with that, honestly.
>>727717203i dont like how the game takes place in africa and rubs your face in it its the type of pandering white women love
>>727716378>white girl african fetishizedneck yourself brown you pathetic manlet
Halo Reach and its not even close. I love ODST but if youre comparing them directly on an individual basis, Reach clears hard. IMO its the best Halo game in general
>>727718856>IMO its the best Halo game in generalIt's that good? Really?
>>727715759There's something about the way the characters are animated in the cutscenes of ODST that I really like.
>>727719052Its the one I replay the most. I just think it has the most compelling narrative/characters and good variety of enviroments and gameplay sections. It doesnt have any "that part" which would make you drop a replay.
>>727715759Reach and it's not even up for debate
>>727719870Last question for you, would I need to have played any other Halo game before this?
>>727717451>>727716378seek help
>>727720754>don't like in your face africa worship the game >be told i need "help" go fuck yourself retard
>>727721006>Don't like african culture or blacks>comes into a halo threadSelf inflicted
It's not Halo without a Mantis
If you care about MP and forge then Reach. If not then still probably Reach because it has Spartans in it, even though I prefer the story and gameplay of ODST. ODST is short and sweet, and English speaking Covenant is also just funnier, but its for Halo fans not people dipping their toes in.
>>727720737Well no, Reach is chronologically the first. You dont lose anything by playing it before anything else.
>>727720737you should actually be playing halo 2 and midway through after like 4 levels stop and play odst, THEN go back to halo 2
>>727719870>It doesnt have any "that part" which would make you drop a replay.LNOS and New Alexandria are most definitely "that part" in the MCC. In the original they're fine.
>>727715759>which one would you recommend and why?You get them both in the MCC, just play then in release order. What kind of question is this?
>>727721647Thanks for this. I'm going to be starting that later on tonight, but just needed a little bit of guidance first. Much appreciated.>>727722521Can't promise that since I'd most likely just play through the entirety of Halo 2 if I started it, but I think I get what you're trying to say.
>>727715759I recommend Reach. If you get invested in the series, this is the optimal chronological order to play. Reach > CE > 2 (Stop after Metropolis: Mission 3) > ODST > Resume 2 after you complete ODST > 3 (Don't watch the legendary ending. Just assume Chief is dead)You can also just play 2 all the way, then ODST afterward. I'm sorta memeing when I say stop playing 2 mid way.
>>727715759As part of the MCC and costing $5, ODST is fine. Doesn't really execute on its premise properly as you aren't actually any weaker than Master Chief and the stealth aspects it pretends to have basically don't exist, but the missions are still fun. As it was sold originally as a full priced release ODST was a complete scam.
>>727715759ODST is an overrated piece of shit and is the first truly bad Halo game.
>>727719052Not really. Reach's campaign kinda sucks desu
>>727715759ODST made me appreciate listening to smooth jazz on a quiet depressing night
>>727722974>Arguing over literally nothingWhere do you think you are right now?
