Thinking, "that studio is only doing point-and-clicks, they must be good". It was one of their first games if not THE first. The writing was so bad, it's ugly to look at, the puzzles were shit, the voice-acting terrible, and the point-and-click gameplay is flawed. I have 7.5 hours logged in it and finished it out of pure spite with a guide. Hated it! Looking by their newer titles (e.g., Yesterday) they didn't learn shit from their past mistakes and experience developing point-and-click adventures throughout the years.Shit game. Shit studio. Fuck Pendulo Studios so hard. Waste of my FUCKING time and money.Needless to say, I didnt play the sequels.Good examples of a point-and-click adventures are the Deponia series and both the Edna & Harvey games. Actually, most of what Daedalic Entertainment developed when they were making games instead of publishing them. Good art, good story, good mechanics, and good puzzles. Mass Effect 2. They turned a fun space opera RPG in a Star Trek style utopia future into a shitty third person shooter, changed the setting to be all grimdark, and completely fucked the entire story. I never even bothered playing 3 after that.
