In the old games you teamed up with people to make grinding easier, but that's useless now. Equipment grinding isn't a thing anymore either, you get the materials for a full set + 1-2 weapons in the very first hunt and then you're maybe waiting for a rare drop to finish it (which is also easy because the games have like 15 chances for it in every hunt that only takes 5 minutes). Decorations, Anomaly gear changing, augments, etc are just incremental stat increases. Getting charms is the only vaguely interesting part of set building now since you can build around them, but that's also now very simple due to how skills have been changed.You can't really fix this or return to the old ways though, since the game balance is entirely shifted now.
