I want to write a book about a video game studio and the drama and lore behind the scenes. Something like the book about Dreamworks. Bethesda seems like a good candidate because the 1994 - 2012 gives off a good mix of delusion about how big their company could get and the personal drama from that era. Are there any other contenders?

You want to write a book about Bethesda, NOW?
You better hurry up then because all the OG people are getting old, if you really want important first hand information, too bad you didn't had a this idea way earlier because you could have had interviews with the founder Julian Lefay (may God rest his soul and his Daggerfall successor game brings us a glimpse of old hope back) Indigo_gaming did a very long interview with him and ted Peterson both are on YouTube and good luck with your book >>727721639

Obsidian would be another, but it might be hard to get good info.

One second thought another contender might be Konami with the legacy of Metal Gear and our beloved diva kojima ;)

Arkane Studio makers of dark Messiah/arx fatalis and the real prey might be a good looking studio as well
