RPG MOVEMENT WOULD BE 1000 TIME BETTER WITH PARKOUR. WHY THE FUCK ARE WE STILL DOING THE 'WALK SLOW AS FUCK, PRESS YOUR NIPPLES TO DASH' CANCER FOR GODDAMN SAKE. WORK ON OVERWORLF MOVEMENT RETARD FOR GOD SAKE AND STOP MAKING THE SAME DOGSHIT.

I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about, but you seem to be complaining about L3/R3, and in that i will agree with you, because it's fucking trash, specially if you have to move with the same stick.

Think what you want about Ubisoft but they nailed parkour in their Assassin's creed games I don't know how it is now because I stopped playing with Rouge

Based as fuck. I use Steam Input to rebind any L3 to run slop the attosecond I encounter it.

Anon you want parkour gameplay, go play Mirror's Edge
I get the idea of how bad are those RPG where you can't explore an area yet just because there's a feeble step on your way and you need a bullshit skill to climb it, but much more movement will only translate to an overly elaborated scripted scene just to access some shitty Nutty Putty corner where lies a hidden treasure. Thats bullshit

Best we can aim is an open world JRPG with some extra movement tools like ziplines or mounted creatures

I'm guessing this kind of mindset is why western games aren't doing well. Both on the dev side and gamer side.
