Do you ever sit and think about all the weird, fucked up, piss and vinegar - blood and guts, filled homebrew games that never saw a release anywhere? Hell, not even homebrew, RPG maker games that use stock sprites and buildings and characters but the writing is something outlandish. There are people out there capable of scaring thousands with very little, and some of them don't even think about it. Sitting on a rotting flash drive in a desk that hasn't been opened since the creator was in high school is something that was never meant to see the light of day. Change "desk" for "storage unit" or "attic" and so on and so forth and you realize that if any of that stuff ever sees the light of day it will be long after the creator could ever face any consequences for what they've made. There are playable snuff films from over a decade ago, you just gotta find them.
