Gears of War 2Is all I can think of right now. It's hard to say, when majority if gaming community is brain dead and consider a prequel better because it gave us bigger map or shiner graphics.

HL2 is tonally different than 1, which was a bummer to me as I liked 1's tone. But HL2 was still good on its own. The fight set pieces were less varied and more boring. The music is absolutely worse. The level design is also much worse. Mona ruins the game, and is a terrible addition. It makes no sense why she's in the game and how she's alive. The story is complete dogshit and Max is much more annoying. The game is much easier than 1 and is completely unbalanced. The only thing I can give it is that it has a good ending and better gameplay than 1.
