He's right. japan's vidya output has declined bigly in the past few years. They tried to appeal to westerners and it failed. No one who wants to play jap games wants imitation westernized slop, they want jap games. Chink games have grown in popularity because they're the closest thing japophiles can get to the jap games they want. And china can do it because their market is fucking huge. They don't have to worry about global appeal.
