Why are video games so boring these days?

Development for something that is green lit takes about 3-4 years. We got hit with a pandemic that stopped the world for 2. Most stuff coming out are things green lit before the pandemic, so it feels outta sync. 2027 should be us right on track. I know it's a while but most of the world got back on track in 2023 if that.

Because they're all made from templates the developers just fill out instead of being made from scratch
