When was the last time you had fun in WoW?I liked running BfA Mythic+
I dunno, 2010 maybe?
Probably the last time I could run from the inn to Stockades without running into the local grooming gang.

>>727732720I liked Battle for Azeroth too. It's crazy how they make new expansions and then previous content is immediately dead. I tried the last expansion (War Within?), and it wasn't good. I would be doing the PVE at max level and it wasn't rewarding at all. You would have a map full of quests but there was no reason to do any of it.
>>727733270Actually, the only reason I could think of to do the PVE content is so you can upgrade your gear, but gear upgrades were really small. The gameplay loop was just awful.

The M+ and raids in BFA were genuinely good.
>>727732720I 100% completed MoP Remix and I'm having a lot of fun with Legion Remix. I main tanked for my guild for the first two patches of TWW but that's more fun for hanging out with old time friends than the actual raids. Remix is dumb fun though.I also like RP.Real, heavy military RP. Not ERP.
>>727733443is Nyalotha ending cinematic still delisted?
>>727732720Classic AQ with my guild. I'm still disappointed in how it went though. Ahn'Qiraj was my whole goal. Didn't care about High Warlord, or getting Atiesh, or even killing Kel'Thuzad. I just wanted to be there for the war effort, and get through those gates to kill an Old God.Everything was all going according to plan until my guild started slowly bleeding members. Day 1, we were planning to split up into two groups to do AQ20, but we only had enough for one raid with some unlucky benchers pugging it.We managed to amass enough to get into AQ, and things were going just fine until we got to the Princes. Where for some reason, this stupid easy fight was just too much for the guild to handle, and after a second day trying to clear it, we just started bleeding more members until eventually they "merged" with another guild, when really it was more of a group recruitment, with one officer from our guild carrying over. (it would have been the GM, but he peaced the fuck out after ninja'ing the red bug mount)The new guild had a loot council system while our old one was free roll. That was already a dealbreaker for me, but they also had a loot request system where you claim which items you're looking for to be considered by the council. Old members got two loot claims, new members got one. So even though this was meant to be a merger, we were still being treated like random invites picking for scraps. And of course, clearing the fight wasn't even a challenge. They skipped out on all the trial and improvement just to get someone else to carry them. (the ones who hadn't immediately left, that is)I didn't go to this raid. Instead, I just searched around asking if anyone else is very specifically progressing through AQ40, and of course, I found no luck. They fucked me out of the one thing I wanted from Classic, and waited for the only moment to make it hurt, all because some people just couldn't handle a few corpse runs.

It was an awful expansion with terrible features that should've seen the exodus shadowlands managed to create. Fucking pvp focus, shitty minigame that should've been excised down to component parts and all rewards stripped from it.
>>727734240>It was an awful expansionno it wasn't, it was 6/10, the biggest problem was the content draught, too many time between patches+Mythic+ was better than Legion+Raids were fun+World PVP was alive for a while when they introduced faction invasions+when the last patch came out they just gave up and corruptions were wild-Azeroth points grind was horrible though-warfronts were awfullBfA detractors are most likely Asmongold fags, since he was at the time at top popularity and constantly shitting on the game because he had no content since his simps gave him everything
>>727733270Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot interesting that happens in WoW. I think someone put it best that Blizzard have been essentially reconning everything lore related since the first Warcraft game. World of Warcraft was just the beginning of a rapidly deteriorating end. They focused on end game content which meant the menial in between questing and overworld content would suffer greatly. It got worse every expansion. They tried emphasizing bringing that stuff back, but the lore is so fucked, and the writing staff are so creatively bankrupt, it's somehow worse than what happened to the quests when Cata replaced most of the Vanilla zone questing. The gameplay loop has pretty much always been focused on trivializing old content with the gear treadmill. Now they have a development loop where they stat/level squish everything to try and make the old stuff relevant again, only to fail miserably by making everything extremely unbalanced/jank/bugged, and you just play in one zone to level up enough to start the latest xpac anyway. The old story doesn't matter in their eyes. If anything Blizzard would rather just constantly forget and retcon everything every single patch if they could. And that causes them to just forget questing should have some kind of meaning.
>>727734451Look at your list you fucking retarded asshole. It is not a 6/10. It's a 2/10 at BEST. Shadowlands was only the straw that broke the camel's back because this fucking garbage came directly before it.

>>727734451>bfa detractors are fans of the faggot rat man no retard we just think everything past WotLK was equally dogshit. legion nostalgia baited retards into believing the past two expansions were good and that there was hope for the next steaming pile of horseshit. you are genuinely delusional if you think any expansion past wotlk (which had its own issues) was above mediocre
>>727734625no, shadowlands was a massive downgrade from BFA in most areas, despite BFAs shitass gameloop
>>727732720I have played since vanilla. I have bought every single expansion. I have never made it to max level, not even once. I just come and go. When I come back, I always have the urge to start a new character so I do. I play for a couple weeks and then drop it for something else way more fun. Never raided.

Last time I had fun in WoW was like a week or so ago maybemy guild was reclearing Dimensius Mythic and we were having a good timeI get a kick out of washed up faggots who quit in MoP or Cataclysm or whatever and clearly never got the fuck over the game and blame it for whatever their own problems areWoW-as-a-social-network died when real social networks formed. The gameplay is still super fun and WoW is still one of the most social games in the entire industry because it's exceedingly rare for games to require some kind of long-running guild to run the real content.>butIt's not the world's fault it left you behind, you jaded faggot
>>727734463>that causes them to just forget questing should have some kind of meaning.Yeah, that's what I mean. It feels really weird to play World of Warcraft after something like BG3 where questing is fun.The only reason that people played WoW in the past was the amount of content, but single player games are so large now that quantity isn't a selling point.
