I don't know if it'll happen because I doubt if they make another game Nintendo would want them wasting time with a spin off, but I would love a Halo 3 ODST style prequel to Metroid Prime with you playing as Sylux when he was a federation trooper, leading up to the moment where he watched all his friends and comrades die because of Samus fucking up.The whole game just have everyone call him by his real name, and then reveal on the final mission that his squad's calls callsign is sylux

The ending is really weird and feels unfinished. Why were they pushing Samus so hard to leave instead of just staying there and illinf Sylux which they could all easily do with the help of Samus as she was already defeating him. Where does Samus even end up at the end when she plants the tree? Is she still desetered just on a different planet so she hasnt actually returned to the planet from the start of the game. Why is Sylux so retarded? What is going on???

Honestly I liked the federation's armor design in Prime 3 the best. Something about how they looked like cheaper mass produced versions of the Chozo battle suit seemed kind of cool to me.
