It wasn’t that bad
>>
it wasn't that good either

Reminder that westoids are capable of making attractive woman design, but actively choose not to.
>>
>>727742120
The jump to cel-shaded graphix in the era of brown & bloom dominance was an interesting choice to say the least, but most people just wanted another warrior within after Two Thrones was a bit of a letdown, anything different from that was seen as a failure
>>
>>727742120
The other reboot was better, forgotten sand I think it was called. The wisecracking Nolan north prince and "checkpoint whenever your feet touch the ground" shit was gay
>>
>>727742120
best handholding sim since ico.
>>
>>727742120
nobody worth listening to ever said it was
>>
>>727742120
True, but some people expect games to manage better than not that bad.
>>
>>727742120
Allowing you to play areas in any order meant the games difficulty curve was a flat line. Also the ending was locked behind a DLC paywall which was only available on the console versions and not the PC.
>>
It satisfied my need to princess carry a woman. For hours. Maybe a day. I wanna be able to hold my bitch dearly.
>>
It was bad, having a cute brown tomboy doesn't change that
>>
It was fine but barefoot brown woman really elevates it in my humble opinion.
>>
>>727742120
I never got to finish the game, should I go torrent for it?
>>
>>727743116
you have my persimmon
>>
I remember retards bitching about the fact that you technically cannot die in this game. Lmao imagine being this stupid
>>
>>727742120
If it were an hour or two long it could be good, because that's about as much content as they had. The rest was stretching and repeating it to fill the time

>Posting Elika
>Not posting her feet
>>
>>727744348
her belly is her selling point
>>
>>727744603
Nope. The game literally introduces her by showing off her feet.
>>
>>727742120
it was alright
>>
>>727744737
why would they give her the belly of a goddess if not for me to worship it
>>
I love the art style, music and banter between the Prince and Elika, so what if it was a little easy. Elika was also very cute so bonus points.
>>
>>727742120
It did some stuff pretty good, like the achievement of getting to the highest and lowest place in the game. Some bosses were kino and so was the ending, movement was really good too.
>>
>>727742120
I had to drop the game for how easy it was despite the absolutely beautiful trailer and art style.
>>
>>727743687
There were constantly long threads arguing about this on gamefaqs back in the day kek.
>>
>>727742120
I liked it. Elika is so fucking hot it makes me feel physical pain if look too long
>>
>>727742120

>>
>>727742120
It wasn't that great either.
>>
>>727742120
It kinda was, everything regarding aesthetic was top tier but platforming sections felt like very long qtes due to how they were handled. Shame we never got a sequel.
By the way, do you guys remember when the forgotten sands was basically three different games depending on which console you bought it for? Are any other pop games similar?

I know it's not the thread but can we talk about how weirdly handled sands trilogy was?
>sands of time
easily the best looking game of the trilogy despite being the oldest, lots of care put into levels, soulful storyline, great atmosphere, slightly annoying combat later on
>warrior within
i like it as its own game but when considering its relation to SoT what even is it supposed to be? A parody? The prince is a completely different character, the whole game has this weird bdsm-dominatrix thing going on with enemy design, everything is so edgy it's hard to take it seriously (also guys watch the interview with Monica Belluci where they ask her what she likes about Kaileena and she has to take a solid few seconds to come up with "uuuuuh she's intelligent") Great combat system though, still the animations looked better in SoT
>the two thrones
barely playable piece of shit that still looks unfinished in many places but what's interesting is they chose to get more lighthearted writting intended to be similar to sands of time except this time around prince and farah are not talking to each other, they quip. All the more jarring because everything looks more edgy than in warrior within but the main characters are carefree and unbothered by anything unless the writing demands it so they can be separated for a level

It only applies to Frenchies.
>>
>>727750131
God I remember that. Every day it was either someone mad that it had no game over screen or someone writing essays about how the Elika mechanic was just a glorified checkpoint. Losing your footing in that game was like tripping in a padded room, and watching the same gameplay clip get posted for the 30th time with "SEE? NO CONSEQUENCES" spammed underneath it never got old. Good times.
>>
are there any other games with a dedicated "banter" button?

Metal Gear Solid

I won't take the opinion of deranged culture war niggers that dont even play games seriously.
Into the woodchipper with you, feet first.

Based. You gotta go into it expecting chill platformer rather than action adventure title like other PoP games. It even has you collect flying bimblos so its clear they wanted to lean more into platforming side of things design wise. In a sense this game really is like Nintendo designed title honestly. It also aged beautifully when it comes to presentation it looks amazing in 4k and if someone would make higher res texture packs it would easily go through as current gen title as art direction is that good.
>>
>>727742120
I thought it was alright gameplay wise, and while I do agree the ending worked for the story is was telling, I kinda of see why it wouldn't land for everyone

Despite it being easy, all the crazy jumping and wall running made me nervous as fuck from being conditioned by the dangers in other games.

>>727752618
It did get a sequel, but it was a 2D platformer on the DS.
>>
>>727742347
I wanted to say that only applies to amerimutts, but then I remembered it was Trigger that didn't cave in to remove Rebecca while CDcucks wanted ugly brown people

Phenotype is too different, face is too round, eyes and lips are too big, she needs to be played by someone like Asma al-Assad
