If I'm playing a city builder it should be>want to build road>plan out the road>pay money>the game automates the creation of the road at that granular level but I have to deal with union strikes, logistical issues with materials arriving, city council corruption and pro/anti development factions, citizen protests.Basically as much as is feasible and fun I should be performing the actions of the Mayor and dealing with shit that comes up from the position of that office and not suddenly I have to put on my overalls and bring my mop when a toilet floods.
