Used to just play as the big bloke and use the shoulder charge, seemed to have a crit mechanic and you'd often one hit every single boss.Definitely remember grinding the rock show stage for cash though, wierdly grindy for a beat em up. Never played the DLC.

They copied River City Ransom's system of buying food to get stats, but it's just a linear stage-based game so the system just doesn't work. You basically start off weak until you get to a stage's store and then you become far stronger, and replaying stages becomes retarded because you walk all over them unless you start a whole new save file. You could just git gud and not buy any food but then you're stuck dealing shit for damage since the game is designed around you buying food to increase your damage output over time.It's a great example of a game getting dragged down by poorly implemented RPG mechanics where they shouldn't have existed.

Denuvo is great because it prevents FOMO. When you're a PC Chad you're always tempted by the latest things, but they're rarely worth it. Denuvo forces you to wait for opinions to settle down after marketing and fad phases. Which is great for end consumers. So you find out, oh actually that game that you were frustrated you couldn't play 4 years ago? Actually it was mediocre, so, better spend your time replaying Morrowind and Deus Ex instead. Thanks Denuvo.
