The new super sentai form visually looks a lot gayer looking than Yokai Shift and Living Weapon but mechanically it seems like a neat merging
I've beaten both games on NG and NG+. I really like them a lot. One thing I hope 3 adds in is letting you know what levels have Secret Skills in them like they do for Springs, etc.

That's why the first Nioh was unanimously hated (it was released around the time From was at the peak of its popularity) while the second game, which was a mission pack style sequel suddenly became the golden child (released around the time hating From and Souls became cool).
I'm playing odachi and I had a really rough time getting through the first mission. The second mission was easier, but, I just dont understand what my damage mitigation options are supposed to be. I dont know if I should dodge or black. I have the boar parry ability but it never procs, and I dont know if its a technical issue or me. I have played through all current bosses on legendary difficulty in where winds meet for reference

There's 14 weapons total between 2 styles. Despite ninja not getting stances, a lot of weapons skills make use of directional input like Ninja Gaiden to increase the amount of shit you can have on speed dial. Ther yokai abilities are now linked to guardian spirits. Everything is still there but it's different.

I have been enjoying ronin myself after finally getting a new gpu even though I had driver problems cause nvidia is jeet central now, but after switching to studio drivers its fine finally.So far tried out all swords, greatsword was very weighty which is something I feel team ninja games were missing and I love it. I am currently using the chinese sword and its actually broken how strong it is, its cool that it has kicks and palm attacks in its moveset.Does fists in ronin get more styles later on? after I did a full fist mission and had a lot of fun I feel like with two more styles I might go full fist later on

If you could stagger most enemies with basic attacks while retaining the ability to just chain cancel on the fly we'd just have DMC.Still, it is what it is. Now in 3 we'll get Cestus + Talons. One of which will have stances and the other will probably feel more like ninja gaiden 2/Razor's Edge talons. That should be fun.
