Dude I fucking hate this game. It's like the quintessential representation of everything that's wrong with these fake retro games>limited design constraints for purely laziness only. 2D, but not masterfully crafted 2D levels and enemy placement like 1-3. The game is not designed for tight movement, risk and reward, literally anything that takes actual level design or anything. You can move in air weightlessly, swing your sword with no drawbacks, you can literally JUMP IN THE FUCKING AIR after being hit in the air making pits useless>Choose your own difficulty. Did you beat the game? WHO FUCKING KNOWS OR CARES? Does pressing play and playing through the game effortlessly (at least 2-3x easier than the other games) beat the game? I don't think so! So what do you have to do then huh? I liked Cyber Shadow way better as a modern NES NG game. Ragebound felt more like Strider to me if I'm being honest.
